ANNOUNCING OUR NEW AND IMPROVED GARDEN PERMIT PROGRAM

We are delighted to inform you that in an effort to be more flexible and provide greater service we have extended the Garden Permit to be a yearlong program! What does this mean? First, the garden edging border will remain throughout the year allowing you to place keepsake items and plant flowers within the garden. Second, we eliminated the October 1 deadline to remove your keepsake items.

The Garden Permit Program begins every year on March 21, with the start of spring. We are happy to confirm that even with this change the yearly fee will remain at $35. A Garden Permit Application must be completed in order to participate in the 2022 program. You may request an application through your cemetery office by clicking here. Or, you may download an application. Please mail or drop off your completed application along with the appropriate fee at your convenience to the cemetery office. Please note your application along with your payment must be received by March 15, 2022 in order to continue with the program.

These improvements offer a safe way for you to express and share your memories throughout the year. Please remember that our cemetery represents sacred ground so we ask that you continue to respect the grounds by not placing any items that may be offensive to Catholic teachings. Lastly, for those who participated in this year’s program, we ask that you keep in mind the need to tidy the area within your garden, especially as fall approaches and plants begin to die.

We hope you share in our excitement about this enhancement!
