The first weekend of November we celebrate All Souls Day on Saturday, November 2, and Catholic Cemetery Sunday on Sunday, November 3. During this week-end, we invite you to visit one of our cemeteries, and to practice the Spiritual Work of Mercy by praying for the dead and by visiting the graves of family and friends. We pray together with you that the Faithful Departed find eternal peace with God our Father.
In honor of Catholic Cemetery Sunday prayer cards, printed with St. Gertrude The Great Prayer for Souls in Purgatory, are available at cemetery offices and chapel mausoleums. When visiting the cemeteries, we invite you to take a prayer card and to say this prayer. This week-end our cemeteries will be open during regular hours, from dawn to dusk and our mausoleums will be open 9:00 AM to 3:30 PM. Please visit and pray for All Souls.
